N.C. Happe is a writer currently residing in Chicago, where she is completing her MFA+MA through the Litowitz Program for Creative Writing at Northwestern University. Her recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Kenyon Review, Ninth Letter, Guernica, and Indiana Review, among others. In 2024 she was named the winner of the Disquiet International Literary Prize.

Currently, she is working on completing a memoir-in-essays.
